Do I need to buy new cameras?
No. OKVIO works with your existing IP cameras via RTSP. If your system was installed within the last ~10 years, it's almost certainly compatible. We confirm compatibility during the free live demo.
Will this work with my existing CCTV system?
Almost always, yes. We support all major brands: Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, Axis, and most generic IP cameras. If something's incompatible, we'll tell you upfront. No mystery fees.
How quickly do I get alerts?
Seconds. The AI processes video in real time and dispatches push notifications as soon as a trespasser is spotted. Typical end-to-end latency from event to phone alert is under 5 seconds.
Is my footage stored securely and privately?
Yes. No facial recognition, no biometric databases, no data sold. Video is processed securely, and you control retention anywhere from 24 hours to 30 days.
What happens if my internet goes down?
OKVIO needs internet at the property to dispatch alerts. If the line drops, we notify you immediately that monitoring is offline so you can take action. When connection returns, monitoring resumes automatically. If connectivity worries you, ask us about 4G failover routers. We can recommend setups and help you configure one.
